Simon's Pub first opened its doors in 1982.
Situated at the far end of Depiro Street, corner with Manwel Dimech Street, Sliema, the Pub is aimed at young (and not so young!) people who are looking for a place where they can have fun in a relaxed atmosphere. The Pub is well stocked, the drinks are very reasonably priced and the people are friendly. Many of the regulars have been coming for years, and a number of our foreign friends, who often use the accommodation situated above the Pub, come repeatedly year after year.
Aficionados of useless bric-a-brac find themselves at home amongst Simon's huge collection of odds and ends hanging from every possible available square centimetre of space on the Pub's walls and ceilings. From Victorian fire extinguishers to Georgian water heaters, ship's portholes and sundry farming implements, if its big, heavy and useless you'll find it hanging on the Pub's walls! Also if you're lucky Simon will show you his collection of comedy hats - there's one for every occasion. There's a British policeman's hat, an Irish Garda hat, a Chinese hat, a safari hat, a top hat, a devil hat, a skiing hat, and so on and so forth.
