The Malta Feline Federation is the leading Maltese cat fancier society. The MFF is a non profit organisation presently under patronage of the Federation International Feline (FIFe). This organisation gives unconditional acknowledgement of FIFe regulations and restrictions. The Federation issues a quarterly newsletter "The Scratching Post" which aims at instructing and informing those in the cat fancy on the care and management of their feline friends and any forthcoming activities. Internationally recognised cat pedigrees are issued to all registered cats and Catteries that register with the Federation are issued Internationally recognised Cattery certificates.

Review It - Malta Feline Guardians Club - MFGC (New Website)
The Malta Feline Guardians Club is a recent cat organisation established on the Maltese Islands. MFGC is a non profitable organizations, whose aim is to sponsor and promote the welfare of all breeds of cats, including household pets with mixed breeds. The club has the intention of holding cat shows and exhibitions and seminars, so as to promote the interest and knowledge of domestic cats.
The aim of the club is to cultivate friendship among and promote the interest of the owners, fanciers and breeders of cats. It will also encourage breeding toward the TICA Standards and encourage the registration of cats with TICA (The International Cat Association). The MFGC is the only Cat Club who is officially a fully recognised club by TICA in the Maltese Islands. This means that MFGC is beyond the patronage because it is a qualified and renowned club abroad. The MFGC Besides this, the club will promote and encourage kindness to all animals and assist in prevention of cruelty and mistreatment of animals. It will also encourage the spaying and neutering of any and all cats not specifically being used as part of a viable breeding program in order to reduce the trend toward overpopulation of, and tragedy among unwanted domestic cats.

We have been breeding Persians for these last 9 years and we are very happy about our results. We selected beautiful Persians, both in type and temperament. The breeding name, MICABLISS was chosen from the surname Micallef and also for our cat Blissto.
We as MICABLISS Persians are very proud in enriching our cattery by bringing high quality cats from Italy, from top breeders. These cats are already national champions and they come from the catteries Diciotto Carati and Settimocelo. We are bringing these cats as champions since up to now; here in Malta the cats do not have this possibility.
