- Malta Kennel Club
The Malta Kennel Club is the oldest canine organisation in Malta. Holding a reciprocal agreement with the Kennel Club (UK) and is an associate member of the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI). The Malta Kennel Club organises Championship Dog Shows and the only INTERNATIONAL dog show in Malta, attracting dogs from all over Europe to the island every November. The objectives of the Malta Kennel Club are to improve in every way the general improvement of dogs and to carry out and control the registration of dogs, transfer of ownership, production of pedigrees and certificates. The Malta Kennel Club also fosters in young people the knowledge of dogs and their welfare and acceptable standards of personal behavior.

11 years ago Mr. Joseph Grima gave birth to the mission that has the worthy aim to alleviate the suffering of abandoned children in Brazil. Since that day Joseph lived for the mission and through his unvarying dedication and perseverance a Day Centre that caters for 200+ children has been built. This Day centre provides daily meals (mostly rice), basic medication and education, and just as important a sense of hope in the harsh world of the "Favelas".

Demajo Group and the plant is situated a short distance away from Multipackaging Limited, another subsidiary of the M. Demajo Group which produces corrugated sheets and corrugated cardboard cartons.
This service is beneficial especially with regards to confidentiality since all processes are effected in house. The factory is equipped with pre press, Heidelberg full colour printers, Laminator, Laser cut die cutting and creasers, window patcher and high speed gluers.

Review It - The Cactus & Succulent Society of Malta
The Cactus & Succulent Society of Malta was formed in 1951 to help those people who are interested in the study and cultivation of cactii and other succulent plants. To be able to do this we have several activities spread throughout the whole year. One of the most important of our activities is the meeting we normally have every first Sunday of the month. This meeting starts at 9:45 a.m. and ends about 11:45 a.m. at Din L-Art Helwa, 133 Melita Street, Valletta, where a talk is organised usually with slides. At least once a year we have a guest foreign speaker. We also have plants for sale at each meeting, a free library and a seed list which has just been issued, a monthly news sheet is also issued and a magazine once a year. In addition we have an annual show and competition. The society has a membership of 120 and the average turnout at each meeting is about 60 people.
