  • Alfred Briffa - (son of Joseph and an established artist in his own right. He is also a restorer of paintings.)


  • Emmanuel Briffa - (a reknowned artist and theatre decorator who lived and worked in North America (mainly Canada))


  • Joseph John Briffa - (famous artist whose works are to be found in many local churches. He was the nephew of Emmanuel Briffa. His brother, John, was a well known decorator. The family came from B'Kara. Joseph Briffa is listed in the book 'Maltese Biographies of the Twentieth Century'.)


  • Luqa Briffa - (a member of the Maltese cavalry at the time of the Great Siege of 1565. He is mentioned by Bosio as having shown exceptional skill as a horseman and inordinate bravery.)


  • Ruzar Briffa - (dermatologist and one of Malta's better known poets. He was a co-founder of the Ghaqda tal-Malti (Universita') in 1931.)
