A well know and noble family that came from the island of Rhodes with
the Order of St John.
Held high postions in Malta and were created Marquis di San Vincenta en
Castilla by King Phillip V of Spain in1742, and also Baron di Budaq by
grandmaster Lascaris de Castellar in 1716
All descendants in malta ,connected thru this most noble family are
related to Nobility
The house of de Piro , still carry their titles today.
