Objective For many years my main ambition was to create a better more
efficient film industry in Malta.
Date Of Birth 17th 07- 56.
Luqa, Malta.
Work experience 1973 - 1991 Emigrant to Australia. After Leaving School
(Government Training Center) today Felinberg. Worked as apprentice
engineering.
1975 - Enrolled with Crawford Productions Pty. Ltd. School of film and
television. Auditions for small parts, small and speaking parts.
1977 - Got a small speaking part on ' The Box ' during the first color
television test in Australia
1979 - Started producing records on my recording label, mainly for visiting
Maltese singers, like, ' The Tramps ' ' Ray Aguis ', ' Mary Spiteri ' Fr.
David etc. I even produced and compared live variety for the Maltese
community
1987 - Created and produced the largest Australian Bi-Centenary festivals
attended by many Australian members of parliament and the Prime Minister Bob
Hawke . Awarded the A.B.A. special award.
FILM AND TELEVISION
1987 - Co-Produced - The Maltese Connection ' a six part documentary series
, broadcast throughout The National Australian Broadcasting SBS
This series was filmed by some of the best Australian Film And television
personnel just finished filming ' Mad MAX ' a box office great,.
1989 - Created and was Executive Producer of ' The Maltese' an eighteen part
television series, which employed, Albert Marshall as my script writer,
Victor Auqelina presenter, Mike and Edith Lanzon and Jane Marshall as
presenters and Lino Mintoff as my local liaison officer.
1991 - Produced ' Destination Malta ' which was narrated by Mr. Stewart
Wagstaff a revered Australian ' Star ' of stage, film and television.
This series was sold in Singapore, Cyprus and in part to Euronews. It was
supported and partly financed by the Malta Government and its agencies,
co-ordinated by the Prime Minister's office.
1991 Returned to Malta
1991 - Produced the first of futuristic fantasy worlds for the MDC drive to
recruit youth to the hi-tech world, part of the careers convention.
This incorporated multi media and hi-tech elements including the first use
In Malta of Fiber optic for entertainment.
1991 - 1999 Produced corporate and promotional videos for many clients,
such as, The Tumas Group, ( Hotels Division ), The Polidano Group ( The
entire group of companies ), The Ministry Of Social Policy
( Police documentary ) The MDC ( promotional Videos ) The Malta Free Port
working alongside with Pinnafarina artists, etc.
Education 1972 - Left school to Emigrate to Australia;

Community activities
Have raised a lot of money for various philantropical groups and For the
homes of the handicapped of Siggewi through Australia,
Interests and activities
Apart from the interest I have in production I am a director of My Family's
company Mangion Productions Ltd. Which imports products, Sells through a
chain of shops, and distribute our own produced videos for the tourist

Volunteer experience I have volunteered to produce many live shows for
charity here and in Australia.
Languages I can speak read and write, Maltese, English and Italian; I can
follow partially conversations in Turkish, French and Arabic.
