The Preziosi Family are of Corsican origin, and came to the Maltese isles as
privateers. A deed was done by one privateer, Giuseppe Preziosi for the Duca di
Savoie, whom was the King of Sicily and later of Sardinia, for heroic deed was
presented the title of Count to his descendants.
The family is still carry their noble title of Count. To see a genealogical

surgeon.
- Roberto Preziosi - 6th Count, an Artist. (1819-1917).
- Vittorio Preziosi - 5th Count, (died 1882).
