A native of Valetta, Malta, he came
to the US in the 1950's with his 10 brothers and sisters and parents.
He started the Youth Soccer Program at The Livonia YMCA in the 1970's.
He has been the coach of such championship teams as: The Hawks, The
Cardinals, The Wolves, Detroit Catholic Central High School, Livonia
Bentley High School. He was one of the men responsible for bringing
back Indoor Professional Soccer to the state of Michigan. He was the
founder of the Olympic Development Program.Co-Owner and operator of 4
indoor soccer arenas, 'Total Soccer', including the largest indoor
facility in Wixom, MI. He, alone, is responsible for starting Eastern
Michigan University's Woman's Soccer Program. He was responsible for
making an outstanding Woman's Professional Soccer player out of Katie
Sobrero of the US Women's Team won the women's world cup! He
was a devoted and loving mentor to thousands of soccer players..men and
women. He was an incredible and dedicated father to 4 children.
He will be missed for all these reasons and for so many more!
